04/25/05 - A minor, yet significant update.  For the first time in the history of The Delver's Dungeon, a reader-submitted Advanced Dungeons & Dragons adventure module has been posted!  You'll find QMG1 Quest for the Mist Golem by Brian Dougherty here.  Additionally, DD2 now has complete and readable maps courtesy of Brian .  Even better, he's hard at work on the cartography for WGH2 (and hopefully for WGH3 as well!)  Speaking of those two chestnuts, while not yet complete, they did just get improved courtesy of cover art!  Steve Robertson has created four fantastic B&W plates to grace the covers of these modules, so a hearty thank-you goes out to him from the 'delver (and good luck in your future endeavors)!

All this goes to show that you folks can make a difference here at the 'dungeon!

There's a new and mostly dull editorial here.

Speaking of user participation, right now I don't have a handle on when (or if) a forum will be added.  I will get one together (even if I have to outsource to Pro-Boards or the like) eventually.

Also...the Delver giveth and the delver taketh away, periodically.  Long ago, in the distant past (well, okay, 2003) I'd decided to create an on-line catalogue of ready-made NPCs of all classes and levels for users to add to their campaign; sort of a better fleshed-out Rogue's Gallery.  Sadly, I have had neither the time nor the positive feedback to continue with such a monumental project, so unless someone else wants to carry that banner, that project is permanently dead.  Additionally, the "humor" section is hors de combat as well - no-one really wanted to step up as a cartoonist.  Mayhap it will return someday as a collection of funny links.  I don't know.

I just got back from RECON '05 where WGH4 Tombs of the Howling Hills was played out over an eight-hour session.  More on that at a later date.  WGH4 will be posted as soon as it's taken from "notes" to mapped out, etc.

Speaking of module updates, I'm currently working on putting the maps for DD1 in; as soon as that's done, the finally new and complete module will be released.

Lastly, in the coming weeks and months, the Monstrous Creations section is going to undergo a face-lift.  There are some egregious problems with most if not all of the XP calculations for the monsters and the page itself will be cleaned up a bit, also.  I may compile a PDF of the monsters and produce a "Monster Manual" type document, too.
